Gano (Shining) Derma (Skin)

This soap recipe was inspired by the beautiful, varnished upper “skin” of Reishi when it fruits. We infused our homegrown Reishi (Ganoderma sessile) in organic extra virgin olive oil to capture some of Reishi’s fat-soluble terpenes, which have been found to reduce histamine reactions on skin. We added the ground up Reishi back into the final soap to add some pleasant exfoliation. This one is now the go-to soap at our house for hair and sensitive skin. We love the way it feels & smells and we hope you do too!

Ingredients:

Mint

Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Reishi (Ganoderma tsugae), Lye water*, local Beeswax, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Peppermint Essential Oil

Palo Santo

Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Reishi (Ganoderma sessile), Lye water*, Beeswax, Organic Cocoa Butter, Palo Santo Essential Oil

Sacred Trees

Organic Olive Oil, wild harvested Reishi (Ganoderma tsugae), Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower oil, Organic Castor Oil, Lye water*, Local Beeswax, Wild Canaan Fir Sap, Essential Oils of Virginia Cedarwood, Australian Sandalwood, Lavender, Palo Santo wood & Vetiver

Unscented
