This is a limited and special offering. For the first time we are able to offer homegrown wild-cultured Cordyceps militaris bred from spores collected in Nelson County and Rockbridge County in the Summer of 2021. The breeding process will help us ensure a steady supply of fruiting bodies over time, but it is our intention to maintain them as close to wild cultures as possible. We will continue returning to new wild genetics from year to year, honoring the unique qualities of each place and mushroom. This batch of Triple extract was made using fruitbodies of strain SQ2.3 x Tri1.1, only one generation removed from their wild parents.
Cordyceps militaris is a beautiful entomopathogenic fungus renowned for its energizing and focus-enhancing effects. It contains a unique set of polysaccharides and metabolites that can modulate the human immune system and it appears to have beneficial effects on the metabolism.*
