This Zine is a compilation of short essays, art, and poems written about some of our sacred medicine mushrooms by members of the POC Fungi Community. We love their work and believe it’s really important to get it out there! We paid $26 for each zine and all proceeds went to support the POC Fungi Community. We are offering these zines on a pay-what-you-can basis. Since squarespace doesn’t offer a sliding scale payment method, it will charge you $26- but if you write in the note section what you want to pay, we will refund you the difference.

The authors of this zine offer an indigenous perspective on the way that commodification under capitalism alienates us from our non-human relatives and demonstrate alternatives. It contains many timely messages given the current cultural path toward commodification of all living things, most recently sacred medicinal mushrooms and any other fungus thought to be vaguely useful to humans. We implore you to appreciate the message they put forth and understand that we must undo this way of engaging with the world in order to heal, grow, and move forward.
